Legal Assistant (International Agency Support)

Responsibilities:

  1. Legal & Administrative Support
    • Review and archive legal documents related to international agency transitions (e.g., agency agreements, compliance statements), ensuring alignment with international laws and internal policies
    • Coordinate with external agents and internal departments (e.g., BD, Finance) to facilitate document execution and approval processes
    • Manage legal records related to agency transitions, maintaining confidentiality and traceability
  2. Written Communication & Correspondence
    • Draft clear and professional English emails and documents, acting as a communication bridge between internal teams and external stakeholders
    • Coordinate communications with overseas agents and clients, following up on progress and providing timely feedback
  3. Process Optimization & Compliance Management
    • Identify inefficiencies in the agency transition process, propose improvements, and assist in implementation
    • Monitor changes in international laws and regulations, and update internal compliance manuals and operating procedures accordingly
    • Conduct regular audits of agency processes to detect risks and implement preventive measures
  4. Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Consolidate agency transition data into weekly/monthly reports, tracking progress and identifying bottlenecks
    • Assist in preparing presentations and reports (e.g., PowerPoint decks) to support management decisions
  5. Cross-functional Collaboration & Training
    • Provide training on agency transition procedures to teams such as sales and operations; respond to related inquiries
    • Participate in cross-departmental projects to help standardize and automate agency-related workflows

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Law, Legal Affairs, or a related field; legal qualification preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in legal compliance, contract management, or international business support; experience with agency transitions is a plus
  • CET-6 or above; strong written and verbal English skills (writing samples may be required)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and document management systems; familiarity with legal research tools is a plus
  • Detail-oriented, risk-aware, able to multitask and problem-solve under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
