On the morning of November 6, The Eighth CIIE Hongqiao International Economic Forum – titled “Pudong and the World: Forging a Path of Openness, Shaping a New Industrial Landscape” – was held grandly in Shanghai.
The forum brought together many distinguished domestic and international guests, including Thomas Sargent, the 2011 Nobel Laureate in Economics, and Jiang Xiaojuan, Honorary President of the China Society of Industrial Economics and former Deputy Secretary-General of the State Council, who delivered keynote speeches. Leaders including Gong Zheng, Deputy Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Committee and Mayor of Shanghai, and Ji Zheng, Secretary of the Pudong New Area District Committee, also attended.
Ms. Sherry Sun, Managing Director, Greater China of ENCOR Group, was invited to participate, engaging with multiple guests to discuss a new landscape of open cooperation and jointly explore the strategic value and forward-looking opportunities of “Enterprise Globalization Centers” in the process of globalization.

01 “Enterprise Globalization Centers”: The Cornerstone of the New Openness Paradigm
At the forum, “Enterprise Globalization Center” became a frequently mentioned keyword and shared consensus. It is not only an important direction for Pudong to deepen openness, but also a key hub connecting Shanghai’s “Five Centers”—[International Economic Center, Financial Center, Trade Center, Shipping Center, and Scientific & Technological Innovation Center].
ENCOR believes that the development of “Enterprise Globalization Centers” will provide systematic support for corporate globalization at the strategic level, serving as a solid foundation for Chinese enterprises to advance their internationalization strategies.
02 Co-creating the Blueprint, Empowering the New Global Journey
Amidst the ongoing reshaping of the global landscape, openness and cooperation remain the main themes of development.
ENCOR will continue to collaborate with Pudong and global partners to explore new opportunities in industrial synergy, investment layout, and governance innovation, leveraging international perspectives and professional services to help Chinese enterprises build a future-oriented global presence.
Turning Consensus into Action, Making Openness a Force.
ENCOR remains committed to empowering global expansion with professionalism and interpreting win-win cooperation through practice, contributing to the high-quality “Going Global” of Chinese enterprises and the building of an open world economy.
